We are  renaming our “Priorities” feature to Groups to be easier for our users to understand. This reflects how you organize your company’s big-picture goals. Here’s what you need to know:

  • What’s changed
    • All instances of the term “Priorities” in the app, documentation, and notifications are now labeled “Groups.”
    • In the dashboard and filter menus, you’ll see “Groups” as the top-level container for your Projects and Tasks.
  • What stays the same
    • Functionality: Groups behave exactly like our former Priorities—they still represent your North Star, guiding all Projects and Tasks.
    • Filters and tags: Any filters or automations referencing Priorities will automatically update to Groups.
    • API & Webhooks: Endpoints and webhook events remain unchanged; only the display name has been updated.
  • Why we made the change
    • Clarity: “Groups” more intuitively captures the idea of strategic goals and company-wide initiatives.
    • Consistency: Aligns our terminology with industry best practices and makes onboarding easier for new users.
